Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan (SERP) is a nonqualified plan that provides retirement benefits to designated employees. There are a variety of SERPs available depending on the goals and objectives of the plan sponsor. VerityPoint's professionals work with clients to design a SERP program that satisfies the corporations' objectives. Common forms of such plans include:
  1. defined benefit excess which provides benefits above those offered in qualified plans with tax code contribution limits
  2. income replacement plans
  3. target benefit defined contribution plans; and
  4. term certain supplemental benefit plans

The flexible chassis of these plans provide opportunities for both sponsors and participants.
