Sam Sheth

Founder and Senior Managing Director of VerityPoint (Established in 2007)

Expertise:

Sam is a founder and Senior Managing Director of VerityPoint. Since 1994, Sam has worked with several of the nation's largest corporations and institutions to develop and implement executive and employee benefit plans that are most effective and efficient. He has worked with clients in a broad range of industries and is dedicated to helping them solve their unique benefit related challenges.

Sam's expertise includes all aspects of nonqualified plans (including Deferred Compensation Plans, Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans, Rabbi Trusts and specialized state-of-the-art nonqualified plans), as well as other broad-based employee benefit plans. He is a frequent speaker on these topics, having spoken at World at Work, The Conference Board and other industry events.

Prior Experience:

Prior to forming VerityPoint, Sam served for 14 years as a Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Clark Consulting. Before joining Clark Consulting, he held various roles at Price Waterhouse, Peterson Consulting and CareAmerica Health Plans.

Community Involvement

Sam shares a strong commitment to the community and currently serves as a Board member and member of the Executive Committee for Junior Achievement of Southern California, as a Board member for the Torrance Memorial Hospital Foundation, and as a member of the Board of Visitors of the UCLA Department of Economics. Sam is an active member of several other industry and community-based organizations.

Education:

Sam graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in Business and Economics in 1989.

Fun Fact:

Sam has been a life-long supporter of the UCLA Bruins. While a student, he founded the Economics Business Student Association, which led to his first job after graduating and, more importantly, meeting his wife of over 25 years and making other life-long friendships. After he graduated, he founded an organization called Bruins in Business under the UCLA Alumni Association, and later served on the Alumni Association board and the UCLA Foundation’s Board of Governors. Today, he still enjoys working with and mentoring students.
